This is another postcard from last week's brief trip to Venice and it's somehow linked to yesterday's post that also mentioned the impiraresse. The window in this post belongs to the shop of the Attombri brothers located near the Rialto Bridge, in the Sottoportico degli Orafi (San Polo area).
Stefano and Daniele create sculptural jewellery pieces with a theatrical edge about them (they also design interior design objects) mainly employing Murano glass beads (that's why as soon as I saw this window shop I thought about the impiraresse...).
Some of their pieces are also inspired by the architectural Venetian heritage and I think it would be interesting to see what they would come up with if they collaborated with a major fashion designer. I guess they would design extraordinarily intricate glass beaded dresses (imagine the necklace in the middle turned into a dress...).

....ei mai passata davanti ad un'altra vetrina Veneziana molto speciale atelier di un'artista molto creativo che si chiama Gualti, che realizza dei gioielli contemporanei e delle giacche o stole scultura davvero incredibili...
penso ti possa interessare visto questo post e i precedenti su Venezia.
E' stata una piacevole scoperta anche per me un pò di anni fa passeggiando in zona Dorsoduro...sono stata "rapita" dalle sue stupende vetrine e dalle sue creazioni sorprendenti!
