Irenebrination is in mourning. In the early morning a earthquake shook the region where I was born, Abruzzo.
Many buildings collapsed in the city centre of L'Aquila - among them also a students' dormitory - and entire villages in the surrounding areas such as Onna and Paganica - were completely destroyed. The epicentre of the 6.3 magnitude earthquake was around L'Aquila and the death toll approaches 40 at the time of writing, but, with a lot of people missing, it is destined to rise.
Talking about fashion and style in such a tragic moment is absolutely inappropriate and my thoughts are with the families of the victims, the missing and the wounded and with all those people who have lost everything in this catastrophe.
