All the exhibitors who join this section are carefully selected by Angelo himself and bring with them clothes, accessories, pattern cuttings and sometimes even pieces of furniture.
Among the exhibitors who took part last week in this small vintage fair inside the Pitti there was also Rossella D'Antona's Rome-based shop Collezionando (you'll find it in Via Monti di Creta 53, Rome; or you can contact it at the email: firstname.lastname@example.org).
The best pieces Collezionando brought at the fair were some amazing wooden hat blocks.
Prices were rather high (€150-€180), yet they were absolutely worth it, also considering that some blocks were really old.
I also learnt something very interesting from the owner: see the white hat block on top of that pile of magazines (first image in this post)?
Well, that's not wood, but raffia, in fact that's not a hat block, but the actual model for the wooden hat block.
Many thanks to Rossella D'Antona then for this quick millinery lesson!
